Anti-cancer action of imidazopyridine BAG1 compounds in steriod hormone receptor-positive breast and prostate cancer

Transcriptomics analyses to study the effect of the imidazopyridine X15695 on proliferation of estrogen receptor positive (ER+) breast and androgen receptor positive (AR+) prostate cancer cells. The effect of X15695 was analyzed on vehicle or steroid hormone-treated breast and prostate cancer cells. RNA-seq was carried out with breast cancer (MCF-7, T47D) and prostate cancer (LNCaP) cells treated with hormone and the compound X15695. MCF-7 and T47D cells were treated with 10 nM 17-β-estradiol (E2) or dihydrotestosterone (DHT) for the LNCaP cells, 1 µM X15695 (for the MCF-7 and T47D cells) or 5 µM for LNCaP cells and X15695 together with E2 or DHT for the breast or prostate cancer cells.
