JapanFlux2024 JP-Tkb Tsukuba Experimental Watershed

The site is located in the headwaters of a tributary of the Koise River in the Tone River system in southern Ibaraki Prefecture. The study was initiated to understand the runoff mechanism of the watershed and to clarify changes in the water balance mechanism associated with forest growth. Observations (3.76 ha watershed area) began in 1978. Observations were suspended between 1993 and 2001, but resumed in 2002. Observations continue to this day.该观测站点坐落于日本茨城县南部利根川水系（Tone River system）内小井濑川（Koise River）支流的源头区域。本研究旨在探明该流域的径流机制，并阐明与森林生长相关的水平衡机制变化。本次观测覆盖流域面积3.76公顷，于1978年启动。观测工作曾于1993年至2001年间暂停，后于2002年恢复，至今仍在持续进行。
