Comparison of the fecal microbiota of adult healthy dogs fed a plant-based or an animal-based diet

Bacterial DNA was extracted from the feces of healthy adult dogs, and the V4 region of the 16s rRNA gene was amplified using PCR and sequenced on Illumina MiSeq. Sequences were processed using MUTHR and these datasets are the generated bacteria results we used to perform statistical analysis for both beta-diversity and alpha-diversity indices.
