Oral Microbiome of Cats with Chronic Gingivostomatitis (FCGS)

PacBio Full-length 16S rRNA gene HiFi reads obtained from sampling the oral cavity at 10 distinct sites in cats with stomatitis or healthy cats. The ten sites sampled were three mucosal sites (caudal, buccal, and normal), two tongue surfaces (dorsal, and sublingual), two sites associated with disease (external tooth resorption and deep periodontal pocket), and the gingival sulcus, molar flap, and tooth surface. Sterile endodontic paper points were used for collecting the sample.
