Data for: Beta diversity of aquatic insects (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera and Trichoptera) across stream microhabitats

This dataset, presented in tabular form, gathers information about the record of genera of three orders of aquatic insects: Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera and Trichoptera, found in four defined microhabitat categories, CSD (sand and clay), STO (gravel, pebbles, and boulders), RLP (rapid leaf packs) and BLP (backwater leaf packs). The occurrence of each taxon in each category is represented by the symbol of a filled circle, and also contains data on the abundance of recorded individuals. These data were found between November 22 and 24, 2021, in 12 second and third order streams, located in the Hydrographic Basin of Paraná 3, in the western region of the State of Paraná.
