Provided is a sheet production device which suppresses the retention of a material inside a material supply route and which is capable of producing sheets that have good basis-weight uniformity. The sheet production device according to the present invention comprises: a rotatable drum part having a plurality of openings formed therein; a web forming part for forming a web using a material including fibers that have passed through the openings of the drum part; and a material supply pipe for supplying the material including the fibers to the interior of the drum part by means of an airflow， the material supply pipes having connection parts which connect to the drum part. The velocity of the airflow in the connection parts is lower than the velocity of the airflow upstream of the connection parts.
