Bathing water quality in Wales 2017-2023

In 2023, more than 91 percent of bathing waters assessed in Wales met the minimum standards to be classified as good. In particular, over 73 percent of the total were classified as excellent. When compared with the bathing water quality of the rest of the United Kingdom, Wales and Northern Ireland are the country's with the highest scores.
