本数据集包括全岩主微量和X射线粉晶衍射(XRD)。对云南临沧岔河REE矿床四个钻孔中不同风化程度的花岗岩风化壳剖面,自上而下的开展风化壳黏粒级成分提取,利用分步化学淋洗方法量化了不同赋存形式的黏粒级REE,研究发现黏粒级REE主要以离子交换态、无定型铁锰氧化物态、结晶型铁锰氧化物态和层状硅酸盐结合态形式存在,并且铁锰氧化物态REE分馏受氧化还原环境影响。全岩主微量在中国科学院地球化学研究所(贵阳)和贵州同微测试科技有限公司测试,主量元素利用ME-XRF26F光谱仪,标准偏差和检出限分别小于5 wt. %和0.01wt. %;微量元素用ICP-MS测得,数据的相对精度一般优于±5~10%。X射线粉晶衍射(XRD)测试在北达智汇微构测试中心完成,分析采用双轴测角仪,发散、接收和反散射狭缝分别为1毫米、0.2毫米和0.1毫米,使用镍过滤铜 Kα 辐射(λ =0.15418 nm),电压/电流为 40 kV/40 mA,2θ =3°-36°,扫描步长为 0.02°。相关的研究成果以第一资助发表在国际期刊Applied Clay Science上。
This dataset comprises whole-rock major and trace element data, as well as X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) data. For the granite weathering crust profiles with varying degrees of weathering from four drill holes at the Chahe REE deposit in Lincang, Yunnan Province, clay-sized fractions were extracted from the weathering crust from top to bottom. Sequential chemical extraction was employed to quantify clay-sized REE in different occurrence forms. The study found that clay-sized REE mainly exist in four forms: ion-exchangeable, amorphous Fe-Mn oxide-bound, crystalline Fe-Mn oxide-bound, and phyllosilicate-bound phases, and the REE fractionation in Fe-Mn oxide-bound phases is affected by redox environments.
Whole-rock major and trace element analyses were conducted at the Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Guiyang) and Guizhou Tongwei Testing Technology Co., Ltd. For major element analysis, the ME-XRF26F spectrometer was used, with standard deviations and detection limits less than 5 wt.% and 0.01 wt.%, respectively. Trace elements were measured via ICP-MS, with the relative precision of the data generally better than ±5–10%.
X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analyses were performed at the Beida Zhihui Microstructure Testing Center. A two-axis goniometer was adopted, with divergence, receiving, and anti-scatter slits set to 1 mm, 0.2 mm, and 0.1 mm, respectively. Nickel-filtered Cu Kα radiation (λ = 0.15418 nm) was utilized, with operating voltage/current of 40 kV/40 mA, 2θ scanning range of 3°–36°, and a scanning step size of 0.02°.
