This study investigates the association between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and intimate partner violence (IPV) perpetration in a nationally representative sample of 2,016 young adults (Mean age 28.27, SD 5.11) in Bangladesh, with a focus on gender differences. ACEs were categorised into two dimensions: threat (e.g., exposure to violence) and deprivation (e.g., lack of emotional or cognitive support). IPV perpetration was measured using the Hurt, Insult, Threaten, Screamed (HITS) scale.
本研究以孟加拉国2016名年轻成年人为全国代表性研究样本(平均年龄28.27岁,标准差5.11),探讨儿童期不良经历(Adverse Childhood Experiences, ACEs)与亲密伴侣暴力(Intimate Partner Violence, IPV)施暴行为之间的关联,并重点关注性别差异。研究将儿童期不良经历划分为两个维度:威胁型经历(如暴露于暴力情境)与匮乏型经历(如缺乏情感或认知支持);亲密伴侣暴力施暴行为则通过伤害、侮辱、威胁、吼叫(Hurt, Insult, Threaten, Screamed, HITS)量表进行测量。
