Relative Merits of Data for Ionospheric Data Assimilation
收藏资源简介:
These materials support a paper that is currently under review. Once published, we will link it here. The materials fall into N classes: Truth Model: the file is tm_2.5deg_15min_2018_EQN_for2022_04_01_highAlt.nc. This is a netCDF file that has electron density as a function of latititude, longitude, altitude, and time. This truth model was created using the methods described in https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1029/2022RS007508 Measurements: There are three files good_ionosonde_data_2020-04-01.nc, gps_data_2020-04-01.nc, occ_data_2020-04-01.nc, each file contains simulated measurements for the instrument types of ionosondes, ground GNSS TEC sensors, and Radio Occultation satellites respectively. These measurements were simulated using the methods described in https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/astronomy-and-space-sciences/articles/10.3389/fspas.2024.1387941/full using the above truth model Analyses: These are the compressed folders run1 through run11. Inside each folder are output files for each of the 15 minute timestep. Files of the type eden_output_*.nc files contain the assimilator output. Code: There is a single python script: makePaperFigs_rm.py which makes all the figures in the manuscript.
