The evolution of downstream modulation of double-edge steep phase defects is simulated by MATLAB. The methods used are angular spectrum method and distributed Fourier algorithm. The simulation parameters are as follows : the size of the calculation window is 12mm * 12mm, the number of sampling points is 1024 * 1024, the incident wavelength is 351nm, the order of the super-Gaussian beam is 6, the waist spot radius is 0.3cm, the initial intensity is 40mm, n0 = 1.48 n2 = 4.2 * 10-20.
