Land protection model dataset

Data used to model satellite-derived Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) in response to precipitation on areas of the Brazilian semi-arid Caatinga biome under different protection levels. Variables: cell_id - Numeric ID of the pixel included in the analysis ndvi - Montlhy Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) score of the pixel prec - Monhtly precipitation value of the pixel long - Longitude of the pixel centroid lat - Latitude of the pixel centroid protection_type - Catogrical variable indicating the level of land protection in the pixel, including no protection, sustainable use or full protection status.
