资源简介:
To better understand processes affecting the ice sheets and to supply boundary condition information into ice sheet models and ice thickness for other ice sheet analysis, the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS) has designed, developed, and deployed a near high frequency (33-37 MHz) radar depth sounder in Greenland. An uninhabited aerial vehicle (UAV), dubbed the G1XB, was modified to carry this HF sounder. This dataset contains data collected at Russell Glacier in Greenland to demonstrate the system. Using this radar dataset, various manual and semi-automated techniques are used to track the ice surface and ice bottom in the echogram data products. The ice surface and ice bottom are stored in Mathworks MATLAB format files. When the ice surface and ice bottom could not be tracked because the imagery was not good enough, the values are replaced with a not-a-number (“NaN”). Files are named according to the format: Data_{$frame_id}.mat. For each data frame there is a layer data file. This file contains the full layer information for the ice surface, ice bottom and any other layers that have been picked and is required by the image browser/layer picker. More information can be found in “Readme.pdf”.
