资源简介:
Polyploidization is an important force in the evolution of wild and cultivated plants and a valuable tool for plant breeders. Frequent consequences of polyploidy are increased size of plant organs, increased tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, as well as the occurrence of sterility and new modes of asexual reproduction (apomixis). All this has attracted the attention of plant breeders, who use polyploidy as a tool for crop improvement. In this project we assembled different transcriptomes from Paspalum notatum genotypes that differ in ploidy level and reproductive mode, in order to provide tools for futures studies of the transcriptome response to poliploidization.
