This study adopts the traditional model and the finite mixed model to study the determinants affecting the circular economy in each province. Using the existing circular economy evaluation index system, the evaluation scores of each province are calculated through the entropy value method and used as the dependent variables. In addition, this study aims to dissect the influence of various factors on the circular economy and scrutinize the causal relationship between them, identifying environmental regulation, industrial structure, science and technology and financial support as the main explanatory factors.
