Sequencing of flow sorting derived microchromosome-specific DNA of Anolis carolinensis and Anolis sagrei. Anolis carolinensis

We sequenced and analyzed chromosome-specific DNA pools derived by flow sorting chromosome suspensions of A. carolinensis and A. sagrei to study the genetic content of microchromosomes and to reconstruct possible events that could have led to the sex chromosomes of A. sagrei. Furthermore, by sequencing microchromosomes of A. carolinensis we assigned 189 Mbp to specific microchromosomes in the unfinished reference AnoCar2.0 assembly.
