We identified the TrniCLIC4 gene in Hi-5 cells. After RNA interference of TrniCLIC4, the phenomenon of significantly increase cytotoxicity observed suggests that the CLIC4 protein is essential for the survival of Hi-5 cells. We analyzed transcriptome data after the TrniCLIC4 knockdown to clarify the mechanism of cell death.
