To explore the role of activated STAT1 and STAT3 balance on T cell differentiation, we purified naive CD4+ T cells cultured with IL-21 or IL-27 for 48 hours from STAT1+/- and WT mouse, and then measured gene expression by RNA-seq using untreated (i.e., no added cytokines) cells as a control.
