Gene expression of PMP22 and recurrence-free survival after breast cancer

This data set enables to reproduce the multivariable and univariable Cox regression analyses of recurrence-free survival performed in the paper 'Gene expression of PMP22 is an independent prognostic factor for disease-free and overall survival in breast cancer patients' by Tong et al, BMC Cancer 2010. The DOI of the original paper is 10.1186/1471-2407-10-682. The main feature of the data set is that PMP22 plays a significant role in the prediction of recurrence in the multivariable context, which is masked when considering only the univariate model. The data set has been cleared by the Medical University of Vienna, DC-2023-021. The data set is in comma-separated format.
