Pudendal nerve block for voiding complications

Post-hemorrhoidectomy urinary symptoms are common, with an incidence reaching 50% in some studies. Pudendal nerve block was used to alleviate pain and urinary symptoms after perineal surgeries. This study explored the effect of trans-perineal pudendal nerve block on the patient experience after hemorrhoidectomy, regarding urinary symptoms and analgesic requirements. This study included 66 patients randomly allocated into two equal groups. In group P, ultrasound-guided pudendal nerve block was applied after induction of anesthesia and lithotomy position, while no block was applied in group C.痔切除术后尿路症状较为常见，部分研究中其发生率可达50%。阴部神经阻滞（pudendal nerve block）既往被用于缓解会阴手术后的疼痛与尿路症状。本研究探讨了经会阴阴部神经阻滞（trans-perineal pudendal nerve block）对痔切除术术后患者体验的影响，重点关注尿路症状与镇痛需求。本研究共纳入66例患者，将其随机均分为两组。P组患者在麻醉诱导并取截石位后，接受超声引导下阴部神经阻滞（ultrasound-guided pudendal nerve block），而C组患者未接受任何阻滞操作。
