Brachycybe producta is the most widespread species of feather millipede west of the Rocky Mountains. The species is widely distributed throughout northern California, and is found in the Northern Coast Ranges, Sierra Nevada Range (also foothills), and in the Central Valley.. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
