1. Groups of 6-week-old BALB/c mice (n = 6) were inoculated with various doses of lentiviral vectors by the intraperitoneal route. Immune sera were collected at 21 days post-inoculation. The anti-JEV antibody titers in pooled sera were determined by indirect ELISA using inactivated JEV G3 as viral antigen. Typically, BALB/c mice inoculated with 3 log10 FFU of live JEV G3 virus have given anti-JEV antibody titers up to 64,000 at 21 days post-inoculation.2.
