In this study, Cyanobacterial bloom forming water samples were collected from Perumal lake (DDPP), Veeranam lake (DDPV), Wellington Lake (DDPW) and (DDPT), Trichy Kottapattu pond, Tamil Nadu, India. We have extracted the metagenomic DNA from these samples and used NGS technology in order to investigate the various bacterial communities existing in lake.
