RNA sequencing was utilized to profile a liver transcriptome of Korean commercial chicken line at two different locations as Korea and Kirgizstan. RNA-seq technology provides the mechanism involved in environmental response, as liver is highly metabolic tissue. We analyzed ten samples from each location to investigate the candidate genes which are involved in environmental response such as sea level, humidity, temperature etc. on liver transcriptome.
