Pulsatilla patens transcriptome sequencing

Pulsatilla patens is a critically endangered species in Europe, and its population resources have been dramatically reduced in recent decades. Therefore understanding the potential for rapid adaptation generated by standing genetic variation in fitness, both among and within populations of this species, is crucial when predicting the impact of environmental changes on population persistence and the future geographical distributions. To address this we have provided RNA-Seq dataset by sequencing leaves of three P. patens individuals derived from two distinct populations.
