Spatial dataset of fog harvesting potential of coastal Chile using the AMARU model
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains spatial data at monthly time resolution of fog and low clouds (FLC), fog water-harvesting potential (Wh), and liquid water content (LWC) related to the advective fog phenomenon in Chile. 00_FLC file corresponds to fog and low cloud frequency (%) derived from GOES satellite at monthly temporal resolution from 1998 to 2022. Spatial resolution is 2 km/pixel, spanning latitudes -17 to -36 and longitudes -75 to -67. Information about methodology can be obtained from: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.atmosres.2024.107533 XX_AMARU files contain Wh (L/m2/month) and mean LWC (g/kg) data at monthly temporal resolution, derived from the AMARU model (Lobos-Roco et al., 2025). The spatial resolution is 90m/pixel, and the datasets are divided into Chile's northern (lat: -17) to southern (lat:- 39) administrative regions. Every region modelling was performed using a representative and available year. For more information about methodology, please refer to: https://doi.org/10.5194/hess-29-109-2025, and for data visualisation, please check the following dashboard: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/81ede259e65c40ffb8509dcd8e708ade XX_AMARU_VP files contain simulated vertical profiles of several variables obtained from the AMARU model as input for spatial datasets.
