Transcriptomic profiling of testes in Etv5 gene knockout mouse models

Etv5 gene knockout (KO) mice have a severe developmental defect in the testes with progressive degeneration of spermatogonial stem cells, resulting in the infertility phenotype in male Etv5 KO mice. We here collected testicular tissues from 5-week-old mice (wild-type, heterozygous KO, and homozygous KO) and profiled the transcriptome of the Etv5 KO mouse testes for global gene expression alterations for signaling changes and biomarker signatures in the testicular system.
