Dataset of Indicators Supporting Policy Proposals for State Support Mechanisms for Fish Seed and Aquaculture Equipment in the Development of the Aquaculture Market for Ukraine's Post-War Recovery

This dataset presents a comprehensive system of indicators supporting the development of policy proposals aimed at strengthening state support mechanisms for fish seed production and aquaculture equipment in Ukraine during the post-war recovery period. It includes statistical data, analytical calculations, and comparative indicators characterizing changes in aquaculture production, fish seed production, commercial fish sales, and the stocking of aquatic biological resources during 2020–2022. The dataset also contains analytical materials on the consequences of martial law for the aquaculture sector, the assessment of market supply, and proposals for improving state support mechanisms through partial reimbursement of expenditures for fisheries equipment and fish seed material. The data were compiled from official statistical sources, FAO publications, Ukrainian legislation, and the authors' analytical calculations. The dataset may be used for research on aquaculture economics, food security, agricultural policy, fisheries management, post-war recovery, and evidence-based policymaking. It is intended for researchers, policymakers, public authorities, and stakeholders involved in the sustainable development of the aquaculture products market.
