Laundry to Landscape Greywater Quality in Santa Clara County, California

With the increase in potable water scarcity, many agencies in different parts of the world have invested in water conservation programs, such as laundry-to-landscape (L2L) greywater systems, which reuse washing machine greywater for irrigation. This Data was gathered as part of a field study for my thesis research. Twenty-one greywater characteristics of thirty households with Laundry to landscape greywater systems in Santa Clara County, California, were analyzed. pH, electrical conductivity (Ec), sodium adsorption ratio (SAR), nitrogen, sodium (Na), calcium (Ca), Fecal Coliform (FC), magnesium (Mg), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), sodium (Na), chlorine (Cl), total dissolved solids (TDS), NO3 (as nitrate), phosphorus, carbonate CO3 as (CaCO3), bicarbonate HCO3 as (HCO3), total organic carbon (TOC), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), boron (B) and Sulfate (SO4) were analyzed in the lab.
Also, the plants irrigated with greywater, whether households were following California plumbing code, and system age were recorded as well.
