Typical plots that reflect the regularity and directionality of community dynamics were selected from extensive community surveys conducted on the western slope of the Greater Khingan Mountains, constituting real-world samples of the vegetation succession sequence. The dataset includes the following attributes: sequence classification, succession stage, developmental stage, disturbance time (year), plot ID, community name, longitude (E), latitude (N), altitude (m), and community structure images. The total size of the image data is 729 MB.
