Increasing mismatch between climatically suitable Adansonia digitata Linn (baobab) habitat and persistent dry-season refugia in the Mid-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve

This dataset contains georeferenced occurrence records of Adansonia digitata collected in 2025 across the Middle Zambezi Biosphere Reserve, Zimbabwe, along 582 km of road transects. It includes 1,069 field-verified baobab locations and the standardised environmental predictor layers (climate, soil, land cover, and elevation) used for species distribution modelling in the associated manuscript. All raster layers were reprojected to WGS 84 and resampled to 0.002497° resolution for BIOMOD2 analysis.
