Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis is the etiologic agent of caseous lymphadenitis in sheep and goats.VD57 strain is a highly pathogenic strain for goats, that was isolated from a goat´s granulomatous lesion in the municipality of Juazeiro, Bahia State, Brazil.The goal of this study is comparative analysis of genome with other Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis strains.
