资源简介:
This data supplements our article "Discovery of an endemism hotspot of freshwater mussels (Bivalvia: Unionidae) in Assam, with a description of two new genera" (Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, 2024; doi: 10.1093/zoolinnean/zlae052) and contains 11 files, described below.Supplementary Datasets:Dataset S1. Information on new samples and DNA sequences of freshwater mussels from Assam [separate XLSX file].Dataset S2. Information on DNA sequences of freshwater mussels (Unionidae) used to reconstruct multi-locus phylogenies (one or two haplotypes per species) [separate XLSX file].Dataset S3. Reference DNA sequence library for correct molecular identification of freshwater mussels of the subfamily Parreysiinae from South and Southeast Asia (one or two haplotypes per species) [separate XLSX file].Dataset S4. Reference COI sequences for correct molecular identification of freshwater mussels of the subfamily Parreysiinae from South and Southeast Asia [separate FASTA file].Supplementary Figure:Figure S1. [PDF and TRE files] Maximum likelihood phylogeny based on the reference COI barcode library of Asian Parreysiinae. The phylogeny was calculated using unique haplotypes, while all sequences were added to this tree at the post-calculation stage for visualization purposes. Each sequence name contains the following information: GenBank accession number | species name | collecting region (see Datasets S1 and S3 for sample detail and Dataset S4 for COI gene sequences). The black numbers near nodes are bootstrap support values of IQ-TREE v. 1.6.12. The scale bar indicates the branch length (substitutions per site). The titles of new sequences from Assam are red (colors only in PDF file).Supplementary Tables:Supplementary Table S1. The COI-based uncorrected p-distances (mean ± standard error estimate, %) between species in the tribe Parreysiini [separate PDF file].Supplementary Table S2. The COI-based uncorrected p-distances (mean ± standard error estimate, %) between species in the genus Lamellidens [separate PDF file].Supplementary Table S3. The COI-based uncorrected p-distances (mean ± standard error estimate, %) between species in the genus Trapezidens and Balwantia soleniformis [separate PDF file].Supplementary Table S4. The COI-based uncorrected p-distances (mean ± standard error estimate, %) between species in the genus Indonaia and Pseudoscabies scobina [separate PDF file].Cover Image:Cover image: Living topotype of Assamnaia involuta (Hanley, 1856) from a shallow oxbow lake in the Dhansiri River valley, Golaghat, Assam, 26 March 2022.
