Base editing for improved tools

Base editing tools for C:G to T:C conversion (C-T conversion) enable genome manipulation at single base-pair resolution with high efficiency. However, the editing scope of current tools remain restricted, which limited their applications. Here we provided new modified tools to induce C-T conversion efficiently with expanded editing scopes. Our study diversifies the toolkits for C-T conversion, offers valuable information for toolkit choice and provides the basis for further improvement of C-T conversion tools.
