We performed transcriptome analysis of 4 Indian heaxaploid wheat genotypes i.e Sonora 64; Vinata; CRP1660; DBW 17 differing in their total grain Fe/Zn content. Seed;lings were grown for 21 days in sand culture followed by applying Fe/Zn withdrawal (Control (C), Treatment 1(0% Fe and Zn) for 9 days. Thirty days old seedlings were harvested for RNA isolation and sequencing to capture the transcripts associated with efficient uptake, and utilization of Fe/Zn from root to the grain.
