This FAIRsharing record describes: ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is an international standard to manage information security, cybersecurity, and privacy protection required for information security management systems. This requirement covers establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the context of a given organization. The ISO/IEC 27001 standard was jointly created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) joint technical committee (JTC 1) in 2005, with revisions in 2012 and 2022.
