Questionnaire ‘Stress factors in the work of an interpreter’

The author's questionnaire consisted of open- and closed-ended thematic questions. A number of questions were designed to determine the professional competences and criteria for interpreter success, as well as the causes of difficulties in the work. The main part of the questionnaire was aimed at assessing stress factors in the work of interpreters. The respondents were offered a ready-made list of stressors that had to be assessed on a scale from 1 to 10 in terms of the strength of their impact on the quality of translation services and well-being (where 1 means almost no impact and 10 means very strong), as well as suggesting their own variants of factors that were not included in the questionnaire.本研究设计的调查问卷由开放式与封闭式主题问题构成。其中部分问题旨在探究译员的职业能力、职业成功判定标准，以及口译工作中遭遇困难的成因。调查问卷的核心部分用于评估译员工作中的压力因素：研究人员为受访者提供了预设的压力源清单，要求受访者根据该类压力源对翻译服务质量与个人福祉的影响强度，在1至10的量表上进行评分（其中1代表几乎无影响，10代表影响极强），同时允许受访者补充未纳入该清单的其他压力因素。
