资源简介:
This dataset supports the findings of the research article titled “Unraveling the global scholarship on Russian migration (2005-2024): a bibliometric analysis of knowledge domains and their evolution” (Manuscript under review). It contains the bibliometric records used to perform the co-authorship, co-occurrence, clustering, and burst detection analyses presented in the article.Data Source and Collection:The raw data was retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection (Science Citation Index Expanded and Social Sciences Citation Index), using the topic search query: TS=(“Russia* migr*” OR “Soviet migr*”). The timespan was set from 2005 to 2024. Document types were limited to Article and Review Article, and language was limited to English.File Contents:The dataset contains the following key files:1. Full raw datasets of publication records and any processed or cleaned versions used in analysis2. Search strategies and query strings for all databases and sources consulted3. Database export files and any deduplication logs4. Inclusion exclusion criteria applied during data selection5 Coding schemes, variable definitions, and any transformations applied to the data6 Data extraction forms, synthesis tables, and any clustering or mapping outputs7 Scripts, formulae, and statistical code used for bibliometric indicators, network analysis, or visualisationData Processing:The raw records were deduplicated using CiteSpace. The resulting unique records underwent standardization, including the unification of institution name variants (e.g., “RAS” to “Russian Academy of Sciences”), extraction and standardization of country names from affiliations, and merging of synonymous keywords.Reuse and Citation:This dataset enables the verification and potential extension of the bibliometric findings in the associated article. Researchers can also use it for comparative studies or methodological replication. If you use this dataset, please cite it using the provided DOI and the associated research article once published.
