Joint attention supports memory when gaze cues are reliable and task-relevant

This repository contains the behavioral datasets of two experiments investigating the conditions under which joint attention enhances visual working memory. Two different groups of participants encoded a memory array and recalled a probe item following gaze cues that were uniformative (e.g. 50% valid; Experiment 1) or predictive (e.g. 75% valid; Experiment 2) of the memory array location. The file datasets_description.txt provides a detailed description of datasets of both experiments. The file data_analysis.R contains the code used to perform statistical analyses on the datasets from both experiments.
