Summary of primary MVZ positions open to undergraduates, the number of students occupying those positions over 10 years (1 June 2005 to 31 May 2015), and the skills gained in each. Curatorial and preparation lab tasks in particular (row 1) are a natural conduit to research since many of the required skills overlap (e.g., attention to detail, familiarity with specimen data, meticulous record keeping, aptitude for problem solving).
