Biogeography of Philippine gekkonid lizards using multiplexed shotgun genotyping (MSG)

We collected reduced-representation genomic data from gekkonid lizards from across the Philippine Islands to test hypotheses about processes of diversification. We used the multiplexed shotgun genotyping (MSG) protocol to collect sequence data from 289 lizards, mostly from the genera Gekko and Cyrtodactylus, however additional gekkonids were also included (Gehyra, Hemidactylus, Lepidodactylus, Luperosaurus, Pseudogekko, and Ptychozoon).
