Trace metals (Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn) concentrations in soil, river sediments, insects, bat tissues and guano from Slawkow,Poland

The dataset includes information on the concentrations of cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu), lead (Pb), and zinc (Zn) in soil and river sediments from a heavily polluted industrial region in Poland (around the city of Sławków). It also contains data on metal concentrations in flying insects from this area (Lepidoptera and Diptera species), in both internal and external tissues of Myotis emarginatus, as well as in bat guano. Samples were collected in 2022–2023. The metal concentration data were used to create pollution level maps for the region.
