Gut microbiota in NK/T-cell lymphoma

The gut microbiota may be involved in the occurrence and development of NKTCL by regulating immune function, inflammatory responses, and EBV infection, and affect treatment tolerance and prognosis. However, current research is still in the stage of theoretical speculation. In the future, metagenomic sequencing, animal models, and clinical trials are needed to clarify specific microbiota markers and the application value of microbiota regulation in NKTCL. Breakthroughs in this field may provide new targets for the prevention, diagnosis, and adjuvant treatment of NKTCL.
