To reveal the function of TcasGA2_TC011770, gene knockdown were performed by RNA interference. TcasGA2_TC011770 was named "TcSOD6" in our study by analysis of their domain structure. TcSOD6 dsRNA was designed from cDNA position 571 to 939, and the synthesis of the dsRNA was confirmed by agarose gel electrophoresis. As a control, gene knockdown for TcasGA2_TC008028 (Tcv) was used. The dsRNA region of Tcv is comformed with Arakane, Y. et al., 2009(doi: 10.1074/jbc.M901629200). dsRNA injection for RNA interference were performed with prepupae of Tribolium castaneum. The total RNA samples were extracted from 4 day old pupae.
