资源简介:
This study aimed to identify transcriptome markers for diagnosis in each phase of METH self-administration and abstinence after METH self-administration, and to investigate the role of these markers. In addition, we aimed to identify transcriptomes involved in resistance to drug-seeking behavior in a group that did not show drug-seeking behavior after METH self-administration, and to elucidate their roles. We identified an impressive transcriptomes in the striatum of rats during repeated METH administration and abstinence phases. Overall design: Gene expression profiling of the striatum in five groups of rats: 16 days of saline self-administration, 16 days of METH self-administration, 12-hour abstinence, 24-hour abstinence, and non-addicted, following 16 days of methamphetamine self-administration.
