In order to explore the potential of NGS in molecular characterization of cisgenesis/intragenesis, transgenic rice event G281, generated by transforming the binary vector p1300-S450RNAi-hFL-G6 into rice line Xiushui-110 via Agrobacterium-mediated transformation, was used as an example similar to intragenesis. We performed molecular characterization of the G281 event using PE-WGS and a dedicated pipeline, and discussed the characterization of cisgene integrations in cisgenesis/intragenesis.
