The phylogeny of the Pseudapis-group

This study aims to shed light on the phylogeny of bees related to the genus Pseudapis (Halictidae: Nomiinae). The project determines the most suitable taxonomic classification of Pseudapis s.l. to retain monophyletic groups. To achieve these goals, we use a combination of improved gene tree analyses of ultraconserved elements, and contrast our results with concatenation-based approaches. Lastly, we provide the description of the new tribe Pseudapini.
