In September 2024, the inflation rate for hotels, motels, inns, and similar accommodation establishments in the European Union was 4.8 percent. While September 2024's inflation rate was significantly lower than the peak reported in June 2022, it still represented one of the highest figures recorded since December 2017. In contrast, hotels and similar establishments in the EU reported a negative inflation rate of 7.6 percent in September 2020.
