A rapid bus only transitway is planned to be constructed from Blacktown to Wetherill Park in 2006. Approximately 3.3 km of the transitway route runs through an existing quarry and the future employment lands of Greystanes Estate under development by Boral resources LTD. A deed of agreement was signed between the RTA and Boral in April 2002 specifying civil works that Boral must construct for a future public road able to accommodate the rapid bus transitway.. this review of environmental factors encompasses the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the civil works up until the RTA construction and operation of the road and transitway post 2006.\n\n**Note:** This resource was originally published on opengov.nsw.gov.au.
