Transcriptomics analysis of guinea pig heart, fetus to adult progression

We report the outcomes of next-generation sequencing (RNA-Seq) of guinea pig (Cavia porcellus) heart tissue and compare relative transcript abundances between fetus and adult. Overall design: mRNA profiles were generated for adult and foetal guinea pig hearts in four biological replicates using an Illumina HiSeq platform.
